Butterfield Homes administers Almshouses set up in the 1930’s by Thomas Butterfield for the benefit of local people. There are three sets of six properties at Cottingley, Wilsden and Cross Hills. It is made up of three charities run as a not for profit social housing project managed by a group of local trustees. Each is a single bedroom property with a small garden area.
